Please pray for Mother-in-Law Judy. She is in the hospital and is having a lot of tests run to see what is going on. There are multiple issues and the doctor is trying to determine what the cause is of her high blood pressure, elevated heart rate, passing out, weakness etc. They are keeping her in the hospital for several days until they can determine what's going on. I will keep ya'll updated.
As you all know, Mia is our EXTREMELY sensitive one and has been very concerned about her "Juju". So she was asking me a lot of questions about her yesterday. This is how our conversation went...
MIA: "Well what is she sick with?"
ME: "They think something is wrong with her heart so the doctors are checking it out and running tests to see what's going on"
MIA: "Well Jesus lives in her heart so are they going to check Him out too?"
It was the cutest thing ever. Especially her inquisitive expression and big eyes as she asked me. I mean, what do you say to that?!:) So precious...

Life Lesson Learned
We went by the soccer shop on Saturday then headed on to our soccer game. Well after the game I noticed that Mia and Averi were chewing some gum. I never buy them gum but didn't think much about it at first because the parents are always giving them gum and sweets and spoiling them while we are on the other side of the field. So I asked Mia where they got the gum and she said she got it at the soccer store. I said "I didn't buy you gum at the soccer store". She said "I saw it on the counter and took it and put it in my purse". I was mortified! One because we know the owner of the store very well and two that my usually very compliant child had committed such a crime:) Well as soon as she said that I gasped and she started bawling. She was immediately remorseful. I really don't think it was premeditated or that she thought she was "stealing", but it obviously had to be dealt with in the right way as we could not miss this opportunity to teach her a very important lesson. Unfortunately for her the store was closed and wouldn't be open again until Monday.
So Jon called up to the store yesterday and explained to Steve what had happened and told him that we would be bringing her back in to apologize and pay for the gum. So after her nap I told her to go and get $1 out of her bank and that we were going back to the store to pay for the gum and apologize. She started crying and said "but he's gonna be so mad at me". Bless her heart, she was so scared and I felt so scared for her. But I knew it was the right thing to make her do. On the way there I asked her if she had thought about what she would say to Mr. Steve and her reply was "oh yes mommy I've been thinking about it for days and days":)
As soon as we walked into the store she started crying and belted out "I'm sorry for taking the gum and here's my money!" Steve was very gracious in it and explained to her that he had taken a car from a gas station as a little boy and has never done it again and that he was very proud of her for coming in and apologizing and that she was forgiven.
I'm sure it is a day she will never ever forget and a life lesson learned...

Pensacola
We just had our last out of state tournament with our U-18 girls and it was very exciting because we won the tournament. We were so proud of our girls!

Me, Casey, Ruth, Jon, Courtney

Our girls stayed with my aunt and uncle at the Portofino on Pensacola beach and had a blast. They got completely spoiled and loved it! When our tournament was over, we went and spent the evening on the beach with the girls.

Boots & Dresses
We went on our annual pumpkin patch trip on Friday. It was a blast as always. Our friend Shannon came with us and also took some pictures of the girls while we were there which I cannot wait to see. She is very talented! Here are just a few pictures that I shot with my camera. I will post some of hers when I get them back...
