Our Little Graduate
Here's Averi waiting to leave. She wanted to go to Mia's graduation so bad but was feeling so rotten. She spent most of the time laying in my lap.

Rough Week
I have to start out this post with saying that we have all been VERY fortunate with being sick free these last few months and for that I am thankful. I know many of you have had sick children and thankfully we kept bypassing all the sickness going on around us. Until this past week...
Averi went to school on Tuesday and a little girl in her class (who had been throwing up already that morning on the way to school) came in complaining to the teacher right away of not feeling good (and smelled like puke). Well, she happens to sit right next to Averi at her table. And not long after she arrived to school, she threw up ALL over the table and Averi. Disgusting! I mean really, why would you send your child to school throwing up?! I was pretty upset, if I'm being honest, when Averi got in the car and told me that the girl had thrown up all over the place. Especially when I found out that she was already sick that morning before she came to school. I could understand a little better if it just hit her once she was there. Well, sure enough a few hours later Averi starts puking everywhere. And continues to throw up for the next 12 hours straight every 15-30 minutes. It was so violent and exhausting! So the next day I stayed home with her and she threw up a couple more times through the day. Well that night it hits me HARD around midnight, and I threw up all night long. Which let me tell you, if a stomach virus isn't bad enough on it's own, it's way worse when you're 5 mos. pregnant. Especially since I was up all night the previous night with Averi.
On top of Averi and I being sick, we were freaking out all week trying to keep Mia away from us because her Kindergarten graduation was on Thursday and she had been practicing for months and was so excited about it and we did not want her to miss it. I didn't know if I was going to be able to make it because I was so sick that day. But thankfully with a lot of prayer and some Zofran I was able to go. Averi and I just sat in the balcony and tried to stay away from everyone. I was so thankful that we were able to be there though. She did an amazing job! We are still having a hard time getting Averi to eat and get her strength back so we're pretty worried about her. Hoping that in the next day or two she will get her appetite back and get back to her normal bubbly, sweet self or we'll be heading to the doctor on Monday.

Mother's Day
Just now getting to my Mother's Day post. Always love to look back and see what we did for Mother's Day on years past. My family definitely knows how to make this mom feel special...
They started out with making me breakfast in bed of coffee, waffles and fruit.
Then we went to church and had a beautiful worship service where Addison was dedicated...
She is TOO adorable!
After church we went out to lunch for Mexican then home for naps.
The girls each made me cards and then Averi made me a pot with a handprint flower in it that had the sweetest poem on it. Mia made me a beautiful hand towel with her handprint on it.
Jon also let the girls pick out something for me. And Averi was dead set on getting me pink sunglasses (as well as some cute black sandals). Mia got me a pretty dress.

Jon and the girls took his mom and I to one of my favorite restaurants Taziki's...
It was interesting to go back and read my post from my last Mother's Day. And now here we are expecting #3...so awesome!

It's a Girl!
We found out yesterday that baby #3 will be another girl. We are thrilled and so thankful for this blessing. The girls are super excited about having a baby sister. They got to go with us to the ultrasound and they thought that was so fun. I love that they are at ages where they can know and appreciate what is going on. The first thing Averi did this morning when she woke up was kissed my tummy and said "good morning baby sister":) So sweet...Here are a few pictures from our ultrasound...

We went to Aldridge Gardens while Jenny's family was here to do take some family pictures. It was definitely one of the more stressful photo shoots I've done, but the kids did really well overall and it was worth is because I got some great pictures...

Mia Turns 6
Happy 6th Birthday sweet Mia! Here are some memories of your past year...
You started Kindergarten and did SO well. I was a little concerned about you being the youngest in the class, but you have proved above and beyond that you are completely capable of keeping up and have done fantastic making straight A's throughout the year. You are smart and like to do well in everything you do...
You learned to read and love it! Most mornings I find you up in your room reading while you are waiting for everyone else to get up.
You started soccer and have really enjoyed it. You are the smallest and cutest one on the field. You run the WHOLE time but sometimes have a hard time keeping up especially with the boys. But you never stop trying. You scored your first goal this year and have had some assists as well...
You accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior this year which is by far the most important thing you have done in your life. Your passion for God is overwhelming and makes your dad and I so proud to see. Your SS teachers at church have shared with us how attentive you are and what a yearning you have to learn more about Jesus.
You continue to have a tender heart for those around you. You were so worried about me when I was having such bad morning sickness and were sure to come check on my to make sure I was okay every time after I threw up...
You LOVE people. After church each Sunday morning, you have to make your rounds to be sure and give a hug to everyone you know, which is a lot of people:)
You are very mature for your age and such a big helper to mommy. As a matter of fact, you usually remind me of things I would have otherwise forgotten. I know you are going to be a huge help with the new baby coming which you are excited for...
You handle the oldest child role like a champ.
You are very intuitive and can sense when something is wrong. You are sure to ask mommy if I am okay if you see that I am upset. You also ask daddy and I every day how our day was, what we did etc...
You love to dance and put on some great fashion/dance shows for us at home:)
You are very inquisitive and want to know how everything works and why it works that way...
You love to play with Barbie's, the dollhouse, stuffed animals, play outside on your bike or the trampoline, read books, play house etc...
You are a blessing to us and to everyone that knows you. We love you more than you could imagine...
