Birthday Sunday Celebration

We had our annual church Birthday celebration this past Sunday. It is one of my favorite times of the year...

Summer Camp

The girls have been going to Camp Straight Street at our church on the mornings that I work. They have really been enjoying it so far. They get to swim, do crafts, have Bible time, play on the playground, etc. Here's a few pictures...

I'm glad they like it, and it's fun having them here at the church with me and I get see them some which is awesome.

Living Room Almost Complete

We are almost finished remodeling our living room, and it is probably my favorite room of the house. I am really happy with the way it has turned out. We still have a few things to do like put the baseboards back in, hang a few pictures and change out the switches, but we are getting close...




This is our little office/computer area in one corner of the LR...

Fathers Day

Father's Day started out with Mia singing her VBS song in the service. She did a GREAT job and was very expressive doing all the motions and singing loud:)


After her nap, Mia got dressed up and wanted to bake something for daddy but unfortunately we were out of eggs, so I told her we would get some at the store and make it today instead...
Later we went out to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, Taziki's. We had a great time...







It was such a fun day celebrating Jon and I am so thankful to have such an amazing dad to my girls. Sadly my dad just headed back to KZ so we did not get to celebrate with him this year. But I feel SO blessed to have such a loving dad and godly example in my life. They will only be gone 2 months, so it won't be too bad this time but we do miss them already...

A Few Pictures From My FL Trip

So, obviously I have been WAY too busy for blogging lately. I thought life was supposed to slow down in the summer, but that has not been the case for us so far.

As you know, I was gone to Florida for almost a week to help coach a soccer camp. It went really well but was super hot. I got some time to relax my aching body in the afternoons though by laying out by the pool or shopping. We didn't get a ton of pictures because I opted not to take my camera along, but here are a few from our last night there. We went to the Keys to eat and it was AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL.








On our way home we spent a night in Orlando and I got to have dinner with 2 of my very closest friends from PNG, Leslie & Kristie. It was so great to spend a few hours catching up with them...

Beach Soccer?

So Averi's absolute favorite thing to wear these days is her swimsuit. I mean it cracks me up. She rolls out of bed in the morning and changes in to one of her swimsuits before she even comes out of her room. I have no idea what her obsession is.
