If I'm Being Honest...

I am really thankful to be into my second trimester. I actually teared up several times on Monday because the risk of miscarriage was still always in the back of my mind until then. It still seems very surreal to me that I am really going to have another baby. The realization of what a miracle this baby is has been very overwhelming. God is SO good!!!

I am getting excited about being a stay at home mom again. I have really enjoyed working at the church the past 2 years, but look forward to just being a mom again in many ways.

I am sad that the girls are going to be leaving SMCS. We have had a great experience there and it has been a lot of fun for me to be able to walk by the playground and see them running around. Or stop by their classroom just to give them a hug. But God has given us a real peace about our decision in Averi attending Hunter Street Baptist and Mia attending South Shades Crest in the fall. And we have always said we will take each school year one year at a time. Both schools are within a few miles from our house and will be very convenient with having a newborn.

I am dreading being hugely pregnant in the summer. People have already been making comments about how big I am and to be honest, I have popped out a whole lot faster this time around. I'm sure I will only feel like wearing baggy dresses this summer as everyone else sports their cute tanks tops and shorts:) Oh well, my pride is FAR LESS important than this sweet baby!

I am still throwing up every morning but praise God the middle of the day nausea has lightened up a whole lot! And for that I am so thankful.

I am counting down the weeks until we find out the sex of the baby. A lot of people have been asking us what we're hoping for. To which both of us have said, as many problems as we've had trying to have another baby, whatever God gives us is a complete miracle. So truly whether we have a boy or girl, we are thankful. We are used to our calm, sweet girls and have most of what we would need for a girl, but it would be fun and different to have a boy too. I'm just ready to know either way so I can start planning:)

Pictures from Averi's Party

Since gymnastics has been Averi's favorite activity this year, she decided on a Rapunzel gymnastics party. It was such a fun party and I think the kids all had a blast. Here are some pictures...
