We are actually almost done with the painting on the top 2 floors! Hooray! My mom & I have been working hard at painting, while my dad has patched up all the holes in the walls, and Jon has been our demolition guy ripping out floors, cabinets, chair rail etc. The 4 of us have made a great team. We have also had several friends come over to help us paint which has been such a blessing.
Jon & a friend from church are starting on the hardwood floors today. We have no way to gage how long those will take to get in since we are doing them ourselves (with the help of a couple guys), but once they are completed, we will be at a point where we can move in and finish everything else once we are in the house...

wow girly, ya'll have made some amazing progress! I LOVE it, and can't wait to make a trip up to see it in person! Glad to hear you have help doing floors and painting and all! SOON it will all be done and you can sit back and relax in your gorgeous new place!

Can't wait to see it. I'm impressed with how much you have gotten done. It is going to feel like a brand new house. Painting our kitchen cabinets are the next step for us. You'll have to let me know how that goes.
