Visit to Florida

We had a great visit with my brother and sister in law this past week. They were great hosts and took us all over town. I took my laptop with every intention of updating while we were there, but we were just way too busy.

The airplane ride went GREAT! They both giggled during takeoff (I was afraid they may be scared). Averi hopped back and forth between me and my mom but was very good. And Mia completely embarrassed me on the plane. Her ears were plugged and she was talking really loud and when we were landing she yells "THAT TICKLES MY BOTTOM MOMMY"...Nice:) I noticed the guy sitting behind us chuckling!

We had the chance to go to the beach twice. Mia really loved it this year. She had a blast playing in the sand and flying her Dora kite with Grandaddy. Averi loved it as long as her feet were not touching the sand:) She would sit on the towel and reach over and play with her sand and bucket. Anyways, Mia used to be the same way when she was younger (even up until this trip), so I know Av will outgrow it eventually too.

We went out on a boat ride one night and it took us all around Ft. Lauderdale. We saw some beautiful homes and of course the girls just enjoyed being on the boat and seeing other boats drive by. It was awesome!

We also got to eat at some great restaurants. Joel & Cristy had a pool and playground at their townhomes, so we went there a couple times. The girls were well behaved especially considering how tired they were. It was just the perfect amount of time to be there. And we were SO happy to get home to Jon. We sure did miss him!
