Mia Starts Preschool

Mia had her first day of school at Shades Mountain Christian School today. Jon went to school there for K-12, so it's kind of neat that she is getting to go there too. She did so well and did not cry or get scared at all. She turned around, gave Averi and I a hug and a kiss and walked right in. When I asked her how she liked it she said "I already love it!" I knew she would but I was so glad to hear her say it...

She is so organized too and all the way to school was asking me "Did you remember my folder?" "What about my binder?" "Did you get my pencil box?" It was cute. Then she kept telling me to please hurry so we wouldn't be late. When I picked her up from school, she was sure to tell me that the teacher had put some papers in her folder so I needed to be sure to check in there and see what they were. She is so 4 going on 20:)

Orientation/Meet the teacher day...

Heading to school....Averi wanted something to carry too since Mia had a backpack, so I put a little snack and juice box in this bag for her to carry and she was so happy:)

Outside the school...She was SO excited!

That is Mrs. Moore (her teacher) leaning down talking to her. She seems great and has been teaching K4 at the school for 10 years.
